      Hi Catrin, Katy

I have a Grade 8 in my piano and a Grade 6 in Violin, I still play the piano for fun.

I took up archery when I was at university and I won a couple of student competitions but never really came close to being really high level.

I have never been successful enough for it to impact my career, but the people I have met whilst practising archery has given me an alternative network of contacts who can sometimes help me solve problems at work!

I can’t play an instrument or play sport well. So I would not know. I have taken up running, but this is more to be healthy rather than competative.

I would live to play an instrument but always had other things I could be doing.

Maybe it would make my career better, I imagine it could be very relaxing.

I play piano everyday and it really helps me relax in the evenings!

      Hi Catrin and Katy,

I play guitar and play tennis, but not at a high level, so they don’t subtract time and energy to my work.

However, I find that practicing these activities in my free time has beneficial effects: playing guitar allows me to relax, sharpen my concentration and enhance my creativity, while doing some sport keeps me fit. I am sure all this has a very good impact on my work!
