      Hi Lewis

A Solar eclipse is where the moon passes between the sun and the Earth. You saw that today (hopefully).

A Lunar eclipse is when the Earth Passes between the Sun and the Moon. If there was a full moon you’d see the moon slowly disappear, and it would be darker than a new moon because there would be no light reflecting off the Earth onto the moon. Then when the Earth moved out of the way again the moon would come back 🙂

The next lunar eclipse visible in Europe is on September the 28th at about 4 in the morning.

It is not as impressive as a solar eclipse, but still interesting.

      Stay awesome!

      Ed
