• Question: Why does popcorn pop? i know the answer... NO GOOGLING!

      Hey Jess 🙂

      I won’t Google but I will guess…

      The heat causes the starch molecules in the corn to expand suddenly… pushing the skin of the seed out of the way and making it pop! Or maybe something to do with the water turning into steam.
