• Question: Do you think quatumn computing will be commercial by 2025?

      This is a great question. There is one main company called dwave doing it currently. There is some speculation on how they are doing it, or even if they are doing it at all.
      I believe GCHQ have bought one, so it is commercial now, though all might not be as it seems.
      I do not think you will have it as part of a home computer by then. I am not sure I will be working with one by 2025. But it is a good current research area.

      I think that quantum computing will be commercial by 2025 for companies (10 years is a surprisingly long time in computers) but I don’t think that the computers will look like the ones we have now, I don’t think you’ll have one in your house or that they will be used to improve the performance of Playstations or Xboxes!
